In this lesson we read Psalms 63, 64, and 65. David wrote these while he was running from enemies in the wilderness. He shows how thirsty he was for God’s love and how God gives a good harvest. Psalm 63 talks about wanting God’s help in the desert. Psalm 64 asks God to keep him safe from those who plot against him. Psalm 65 thanks God for good rains and a good harvest. The theme is that God cares for our needs and gives us plenty, even when life is hard.
