The Blessing Of God

The promise of God is that He will supply the answer to every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus. He does this in answer to prayer, and in His wisdom and His time. His provision is always given in the measure of the His wisdom, and the furtherance of His purposes. There is coming a day when the believer, complete in Christ, will know the absolute fulness of Christ, when there will be no more conscious need.

Christ Our Sanctification

The moment the believer is born again of the Spirit, Christ becomes to him many things. One of those things is his sanctification, Christ's sanctification. As Jesus becomes his wisdom, so in the truest sense of the term, He becomes that God given blessing of knowing something of Christ's separateness unto God the Father according to His work on Calvary. One day the believer's sanctification in Christ will be fully realized, and accomplished in heaven, or when he meets Him face to face.

The Restoration Of The Soul To God

It is one thing to know that God restores the soul, bringing it back into communion or fellowship with Himself with all the blessings of God with it, but it is quite another to know the reality of Him restoring our souls, experiencing it. This he will do for the soul who seeks Him for it. He IS the perpetual Restorer of our souls, ever willing and waiting to accomplish this today.

The Old Man's New Beginning

God is ageless, and so is His calling. Though we live in these tents of clay we call our bodies, God's eternal calling, and the gifts which He bestows upon us so that we can do His will, do not change. We are therefore called upon to believe Him event to our old age, to be all that He desires to be in and through us by the Spirit of Christ.

The Enduring Command

The command of Christ to follow Him is not for just today or tomorrow. It is a perpetual command that applies to the disciple of Christ until the moment when he leaves this earth to join Him in heaven, or in the clouds. The Christian is one who has chosen, by the grace of God, to follow Christ, and this for his entire life.

The Bedrock Of God's Faithfulness

The faithfulness of God is the bedrock of Christian faith. Why? It is because the nature of God and the expression of that nature in His word, through His commandments and promises, is one and the same. His word is the revelation of His nature. His promises are the means by which He reveals that there is no variance or difference between what He says and what He will ever be and do.

Fellowship With God

The great call of God to the individual believer is to know communion with God born out of one's union with Christ. This was John the Apostle's great message in his first epistle, that because of the communion that he knew with Christ, the other brethren to whom he wrote, might also know this communion. To know Christ, and to commune with Him by the Spirit, is to live.

The Heart The Throne Of God

Where does God reign? It is true that God is seated upon His throne in heaven. But concerning the salvation of men, and the coming of Christ's kingdom, the Lord Jesus reigns in the heart of the believer. In essence the heart becomes the throne of God where He reigns and communicates His life in response to faith.

The Drawing Power Of God

The only way that an individual can come to Christ is by the Lord drawing him. Only by the intervention of God can a lost, helpless, and hopeless soul come to Christ who is waiting to save. The drawing power of God is revealed by the thirst that He gives for God, but also for salvation from sin. The evidence and assurance that God is working in the heart is the manifestation of God's drawing power.

That Which Was, Is, And Evermore Shall Be

The salvation which Christ gives is one that is as everlasting as He is, for He IS the believer's salvation. All that Christ accomplished on the cross to save the souls of men was done with eternity in view. It was an eternal work, with eternal ramifications, lasting, unchanging effects. The precious blood of Christ washes away sins forever. The Spirit of Christ gives eternal Life to the believer in Christ.
