Hebrews 5:7-14

Jesus suffered perfectly on our behalf. Having accepted our salvation through faith in Christ alone, beware lest we be dull of hearing and fall away.

Hebrews 5:1-7

McGee explains why Christ is a high priest who was so much better than any human priest.

Hebrews 4:14-16

How Jesus is the great high priest, better than the Old Testament high priesthood, and who now ever lives to represent us to God.

Hebrews 4:9-13

A discussion about the dispensations of the Bible. We are in the Church age, by which we can enter into peace with God, and become new creations, by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ our Redeemer and Savior.

Hebrews 3:16-4:8

Hebrews speaks about the Sabbath-rest for the people of God… that is resting on Christ, believing God. If we have become convinced by the Gospel and the word of God, we are entered into that Sabbath-rest. NOW is the day of salvation!

Hebrews 3:10-15

It's possible to let our hearts grow cold and indifferent so we miss God's "rest!" Sin in our life can keep us from Christ. We are told to encourage each other to keep following the Lord and his Word.

Hebrews 3:6-10

We are cautioned not to have a doubting, unbelieving heart, like the early Hebrews did during the Exodus, when they rejected God's leadership and provision in the wilderness.

Hebrews 3:1-6

Hebrews shows how Christ is superior to the Law, superior to the angels, and now we see how he is superior to Moses. Moses was a servant in God's house, but Christ is the Son!

Hebrews 2:9-18

We study Jesus Christ as fully human as well as fully God. Because Christ suffered in his flesh, he is able to comfort us because he has experienced the same kinds of trouble and temptations that we have.

Hebrews 2:10-17

It was Jesus, the captain of our faith, who made our salvation perfect through his suffering. "What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus~!"

Hebrews 2:5-10

Jesus Christ was God made in the form of human flesh, like unto his brothers, for the suffering of death… so that he might pay our sin ransom and bring many sons to Glory!
