1 Timothy 5:1-19

Here are Paul's commands regarding the different relationships of the people who comprise the local church; younger to older, men to women, men to men, women to women, and use wisdom in benevolence.

The "mystery of Godliness" is found in Christ… God manifest in the flesh. He is now conferring his authority to the Church, and is warning the true and faithful church leadership to avoid doctrines of demons.

False teaching ruins lives and ruins churches. Paul warns Timothy to stick to the teaching of the Word of God, and not rely on opinions, myths, or fables.

1 Timothy 1:1-2

Paul informs us that he was a called Apostle "by the will of God." The church needs to make sure that its leaders are truly called by God and are faithful to that high calling.
